|
|
Hi there,
I was wondering what, if any, special turnout tecniques are used when preparing a horse for a carriage class. I would be showing at a Morgan breed show, if this makes any difference. Are quarter marks acceptable? What type of braids are most commonly seen? Are tails short, long, or another specific length?
Thanks so much!

Also, I've just taken the new harness out of the bag, and laid out all of the parts. I think I've got it down, but the harness I have doesn't seem to have a back/bellyband... Is this a problem? The videos on the website show the harness having this part but I beleive mine does not. The loops that the traces go through are attached to the surcingle/saddle part.
I apologize for the butchering I'm sure I gave the correct terms for these parts... I'm still learning!
