breastcollar doesn't attach to saddle...?

Hi there!

I know I am showing just how green I am by asking this question, but am I correct in my understanding that the breastcollar does not attach to the saddle, just the traces? If this is true, what keeps the saddle from sliding back?

Hi Maggie Moo!

Have a look here about breastcollar harnesses and
photos with description.

This might help to clarify things a bit.

So it buckles to the traces? Which attach to the shaft?
