I am training a 3 yr old gelding mini donkey to drive. He knows his verbal commands and does well except when it comes to going in the direction of the barn where his play mates are. I have a very difficult time stopping him. Do you have any suggestions as to what kind of bit I should use to give me more control?

Hi Lucy! I would probably go back to ground work getting him super responsive leading and halting then lunging etc... Let us know how you go.
